Our modern and chunky solid oak floating shelf, finished to between 125mm - 200mm in width and 55mm thickness. Using only the best quality solid kiln dried oak, this shelf is a must-have for those that love the contemporary style and beautiful chunky timber.

Choose from any of the wax oil finish options to have your chunky oak shelf arrive in your chosen colour. We ensure a high quality finish with two coats of wax oil, providing durability and protection.

We aim to fulfil all shelving orders as quickly as possible. We machine all shelving to order, and offer a standard dispatch and priority dispatch.

Each one of our chunky oak shelves is individually handmade using beautiful solid kiln dried oak. This particular chunky floating shelf arrives in a 55mm finished thickness and any width between 125mm and 200mm, with several lengths available.

We can optionally trim your shelf to your custom sizes completely free of charge, and also offer wax oils in a range of colours for the perfect finished shelf. For anything out of the ordinary get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Our chunky oak shelving is machined and sanded smooth to a 55mm thickness, which can be optionally custom sized. Our modern oak shelves can also be bought in 'slim' and 'thick' variations to help you find the perfect size.

Shelf length

300 - 2400mm

We can machine to almost any reasonable length, and have standard options ranging from 300mm (0.3m) to 2400mm (2.4m). We can trim your chunky oak shelf down to any custom measurements, and often able to accommodate longer lengths too.

The shelf met all my expectations, a lovely piece of oak that we ordered unfinished so we could use our own oil to match the the new staircase. The fitting was straightforward, it would be helped if a paper hole guide was included just to place on the wall to be able to drill the holes in the correct place. I’m very impressed with the quality and the fact that I was able to request bespoke sizing.

Thank you for the feedback also - the hole guide would be useful at times, but bearing in mind that we drill each shelf and hole individually there could be a slight discrepancy from one shelf to another. I will be putting together a guide though, to help anyone that needs it with fitting.
